NO Wood. NO Rot. NO Worries. - If you've been a boater for any length of time, you've probably witnessed the failure of wood in a boat. Wood floors, seat bases and transoms are all susceptible to time and water. Sooner or later even treated wood will rot, and it is very frustrating and expensive to repair. The only reason anyone still puts wood in a boat is because it's cheaper and easier! Caravelle doesn't cut corners when building your boat.
Many companies talk about wood-free this and wood-free that, yet fail to mention the use of plywood in transoms, stringers, side panels, seats or sub floors. Rest assured, your Caravelle has absolutely no wood anywhere in the boat. Not in the transom. Not in the stringers, Not in the side panels, seat, or sub floors. Nowhere.
